Licence and terms

These terms apply when you buy or use LogBench. "We" and "us" mean LogBench and the person who makes it. By buying or using it, you agree to these terms.

1. What you buy

You buy a personal licence for one person. You may use LogBench on any computer that you personally use. The licence does not expire.

The $69 bundle also includes the LogBench Capture Template, an Excel workbook. The same licence applies to it.

You may not:

sell, rent, or give copies of LogBench or the template to other people;
publish them on a website, file-sharing service, or group chat;
sell a changed version of them as your own product.

We keep all rights in LogBench and the template. You own your trade data and everything you make from it.

2. No copy protection

LogBench has no licence key and no activation. This is on purpose. It lets the app work with no internet connection. It also means we trust you to keep to the licence.

3. What LogBench is not

LogBench is software for reading your own trade records. It does arithmetic and draws charts from a file you give it.

It is not financial, investment, or trading advice. It does not tell you what to trade, when to trade, or whether to trade. It does not connect to any broker or account, and it does not place trades. Past results in your file do not predict future results. All trading decisions are yours.

4. Buying and refunds

Lemon Squeezy sells LogBench for us as our reseller. They take your payment and handle sales tax, and their terms of sale also apply to your purchase.

5. What your file needs

LogBench needs a trade log with one row per trade: a date and a dollar result for each trade (or entry price, exit price, and long or short). Many broker statements list each buy and each sell on its own line instead. LogBench cannot pair those lines into trades. If LogBench cannot read your file, use the 14-day refund.

6. No warranty

We test LogBench carefully with real trade logs. But we provide it "as is," without any warranty. We do not promise that it is free of errors or that it suits your purpose. Check any number that matters to you before you rely on it.

7. Limit on our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any trading loss, lost profit, lost data, or other loss that comes from using LogBench or from decisions you make with it. If we are found responsible for anything, the most we will pay is the price you paid for LogBench.

Some places do not allow these limits. If you live in one of them, these limits apply only as far as your local law permits. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under consumer law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that was on this page on the day you bought LogBench applies to your purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA.
